New Septic System Installation
A new septic system starts long before any digging. The size of the tank and the leach field depends on the size of the home, how many bedrooms it has and how well your soil drains. Clay soils, common in parts of the Sacramento region, drain more slowly and can call for a larger or different field layout.
New septic systems need a permit and approval from the county, and the design has to meet local requirements. We’ll walk you through what the process looks like for your property and plan our work around the steps the county requires.
If you’re building a new home or an ADU, we can plumb the house and the septic system together. Our new construction plumbing work goes back to the company’s roots in custom homes.
Septic System Upgrades
Sometimes a system works, but not well enough for the way the home is used now. Adding a bedroom, building an ADU or a growing household can push an older system past what it was built for.
An upgrade might mean a larger tank, added leach field capacity or new pipe between the house and the tank. We look at the full system and tell you what it actually needs, not the biggest job we can sell.
Replacement Tanks and Leach Lines
Replacement Septic Tanks
Older tanks can crack, corrode or settle. A damaged tank can leak wastewater into the ground or let groundwater in, overloading the leach field. We take the old tank out of service as required, set the new one, and connect it to the house line and the field.
Leach Field Lines
When leach lines are clogged with solids, crushed or full of roots, wastewater can’t spread out and soak in. You may see soggy ground, notice odors or have slow drains. We replace failed lines so the field can do its job again, and we check whether the tank played a part in the failure.
Our Septic System Installation Process
We follow the same steps on every job:

- We give you a free estimate on site, with a real price before work starts
- Once you approve, we do the installation and work through the county inspection steps
- We test the system to make sure everything drains and works properly
- We close you out and explain how to care for your new system
